Choosing the best WoW Forever bot: what to look for

How to choose the best WoW Forever bot for leveling, farming, gathering and dungeons: automation depth, safety design, update speed, pricing and honest support.

Start with what you actually need

Before comparing bots, figure out what you want one for. Most people want one of four things: level an alt without redoing the same zones for the sixth time, farm gold or materials overnight, fill a missing role in dungeon runs with friends, or gather ore and herbs while they sleep. A bot that does one of those well is more useful than a bot that claims to do all of them but does none properly.

If you only care about leveling, you do not need a dungeon bot. If you only want to farm, you do not need quest-pathing logic. Pay for the thing you will actually use.

Leveling: what separates a real bot from a grinding script

A lot of bots say "1-60 automated" and what they mean is your character runs in a circle killing mobs until it levels. That works, sort of — it is also the slowest and most detectable way to level. A real leveling bot quests: it walks to quest givers, accepts and completes quests, picks the zone that gives the most experience for your current level, and equips upgrades when they drop.

The thing to check: does the bot have class-specific combat rotations, or does it use one generic rotation for every class? A hunter and a warrior do not play the same way. If a bot uses the same priority list for both, it is going to look robotic and perform poorly. How a leveling bot works breaks down each system in detail.

Farming: the scheduler is the product

Anyone can make a bot that kills mobs and loots them. The question is whether it runs on your schedule — start at 2 AM, stop at 7 AM, skip Tuesdays — and whether it tracks what you actually earned so you can compare spots. If a bot cannot tell you that spot A paid 180g/hour and spot B paid 90g/hour, you are guessing every time you pick a farm.

Loot rules matter too. You want to keep some items, vendor others, and mail the valuable stuff to an auction alt. If the bot just vendors everything, you are losing money on items that sell for ten times their vendor price on the auction house. The farming bot guide covers how to set this up.

Dungeons: most bots do not even try

Running dungeons with a bot is hard. The bot has to hold threat as a tank, interrupt casts at the right moment, avoid standing in fire, and keep a group alive through mechanics that one-shot you if you miss them. Most bots skip dungeons entirely because it is too much work to build.

If you want dungeon automation — either to level through dungeons or to fill a missing slot when your group is one short — check whether the bot actually supports it and which dungeons it covers. A bot that only runs the first three leveling dungeons is not a dungeon bot; it is a combat rotation that happens to work in an instance. The dungeon bot guide explains what is realistic and what is not.

What we built and what we charge

WowForeverBot does leveling, farming, gathering, and dungeons. It has per-class rotations, scheduled farming sessions with gold tracking, gathering routes that skip depleted nodes, and dungeon scripts with role-based AI. You can read about each one on the leveling, farming, professions, and dungeons pages and decide if it does what you need.

It costs $20/month or $120 for a lifetime license (pricing). We have a public roadmap so you can see what is done and what is still being built. And the safety guide is honest about ban risk — read it before you buy anything from anyone.
